Walk down rue du Havre and take rue Tronchet to place de la Madeleine. Walk around the square and its church on the right hand side. Take rue Royale situated opposite and turn left onto the chic rue Saint-Honoré. Opposite turn onto rue Cambon and walk up rue de Rivoli. Enjoy a stroll through its arcades until you reach rue de Castiglione. Continue to place Vendôme, with its column and luxury jewellers. Continue along rue de la Paix which leads you straight to the Opéra Garnier.

Continue your walk via the boulevard des Italiens and then turn right onto boulevard Poissonnière, past the Musée Grévin and continue along boulevard de Bonne-Nouvelle to porte Saint-Denis. Walk up rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, to the cour des Petites-Ecuries.
